2 weeks ago Massey Energy began blasting Coal River Mountain, an ideal site for thousands of wind turbines and clean energy jobs in West Virginia. Local activists are calling for major mobilizations to demand that Pres. Obama and other federal representatives intervene to help spur the transition to a clean energy economy.

The Ohio Power Shift Summit is only one-day away and we are pumped!  Incredible speakers (Elizabeth Kucinich, Elisa Young, etc) continue to line up and over 350 people are registered.  It's not too late for people to registered, so throw your friends into your car pool and bring them along!
